Deal: 64GB microSDXC class 10 card by SanDisk — $43 (Save 57%), 32GB — $23 at Amazon

64GB microSD card. Yep I said it. We already know that the Nokia Lumia 820 is able to handle the 64GB microSDXC cards, and I’m pretty sure 100% sure that the new Samsung ATIV Windows Phone 8 lineup can as well. Today’s deal comes from Amazon’s Gold Box and features two microSD cards that are must-have accessories in any phone with expandable storage.

As you can see from the image above, the 32GB class 10 is going for $22.99 and the 64GB microSDXC is $43.49. Keep in mind this is today only so you really have to jump on this deal. Amazon says “while supplies last” so I already have the 64GB version in my card ready for checkout.

With the launch of the Nokia Lumia 920 imminent and preorders already open,  it’s only a matter of time before other WP8 devices follow that are compatible with 64GB microSDXC. Does the Lumia 920 not having a microSD slot bother you? It has 32GB built-in — so I guess the question is: Is 32GB enough?

Stay tuned for more coverage on phones that support 64GB microSDXC.

Nokia Lumia 920 not having a micro SD card support is really a poor decision by Nokia. A flagship product should have all features of its cheaper model + more.

I was also pretty bummed when I learned this news about the Lumia 920. It looks good on paper that 32GB is built-in, but imagine if they had just made it 8GB internal and added the microSD slot like they have on the Lumia 829. 64+8 = amazing amount of storage.

I would love to ask the product managers for the 920 why this was left out, although I suspect it has to do with the design, size, and space.
