Releasing a phone in white seems to be a hot trend right now. Nokia is doing it with the white N9, Samsung with the white Galaxy S2, and now Motorola with the white DROID RAZR. Apple should be the one to blame for the craze; I see more white iPhones and iPads than black. Starting tomorrow Verizon customers will be able to pick up the Droid RAZR in white online and in stores.

If you’re currently shopping for a new smartphone in the US now would be a good time to check out Amazon’s dedicated phone section, AmazonWireless . Offer valid between 5:00 p.m. PDT October 11, 2011, through 11:59 p.m. PDT October 17, 2011, while supplies last.” Too bad this deal excludes the Apple iPhone. Android phones such as the Droid Bionic 4G, Incredible 2, HTC Thunderbolt 4G, and the Droid 3 Global .....

Report: iPhone 5 coming to Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T this fall

Today the Wall Street Journal is reporting that Apple will release the iPhone 5 on 3 major US carriers in mid-October. AT&T, Verizon, and surprise player Sprint are on the list to carry the iPhone 5. It comes as a surprise to me that Sprint is included right off the bat but I see it as a good thing for the entire industry.
