Thumbnail image for Mango now available for (almost) all Windows Phone devices

Microsoft is really trying to improve their software roll-out for Windows Phone devices this time around with WP7 7.5 Mango. Their last update earlier this year didn’t go so well and they took a lot of negative press for it. With the smartphone market becoming increasingly competitive and Microsoft sitting far back in 3rd place, there is no room for screw-ups with this release. Not to mention Nokia is announcing their new WP7 lineup next week so Microsoft really has to look good.

Nokia 800 Windows Phone with 8MP camera leaked

With Nokia World right around the corner this can only mean one thing: Leaks! The buzz around Nokia right now is their upcoming Windows Phone lineup and new focus on the North American market. The Nokia 800 is the first major leak for the Finnish giant this season, but all we have is an advertisement to speculate on. It looks like the Nokia 800 will be codenamed Sun, but rumors also mention Lumia. Judging by the quote in the image below, I’m guessing it will be called Nokia Sun. Shop: The Nokia Lumia 800 is available at Carphone Warehouse.

The HTC Radar is a modest release compared to its larger sibling Titan. But, it seems to come beautifully packaged in a white exterior and has the same curved aluminum unibody design. The Radar has a 3.8″ screen and is powered by a 1GHz processor, 512MB ram, 5MP camera / w single LED flash and 720P high definition video recording. While the Titan is focused on entertainment and ease of use due to its large screen, the Radar specializes in taking excellent photos with its 5MP camera with BSI sensor for better low-light capture and f2.2 lens. The HTC Radar will release globally in October 2011. httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJ9JOC3LuIA Source: HTC

But times has changed and in 2011 HTC has decided to up the ante by releasing the HTC Titan with a massive 4.7″ screen. The HTC Titan is powered by a 1.5GHz processor, 512MB, and WP7.5. The Titan is no slouch in the camera department either utilizing a BSI sensor for better low light exposures the 8MP camera w/ dual LED flash can also record high definition video at 720P. Despite its large screen size the Titan will come in at a slender 9.9mm and feel solid thanks to its brushed aluminum unibody design.
