No matter what I do in "Profile" or "Tones" I can't get it to work..
I've turned "Alert for all calls" ON and turned "Vibrate" ON, but I get nothing on SMS alerts.
Try resetting your set and then make the required changes. You can try hard reset by entering in *#7370# when on standby. Your phone will be formatted this way and better keep a backup first and let me also remind you that security code by default is 12345.
Now try new settings and hopefully it will work
