Nokia N8 headed to Rogers Wireless rogers nokia n8 thumb

This should come as no surprise to our Canadian readers as Rogers and Nokia go way back but as the leaked slide above shows, Nokia’s latest flagship device will launch on Canada’s largest wireless carrier sometime in Q4. More after the break.

The N8 is Nokia’s first device to run the updated Symbian OS, which offers multitouch support, one click navigation throughout the UI and support for a multitude of features such as 720p video recording and USB On-The-Go support but the N8’s major selling point has got to be the 12 megapixel camera with xenon flash and 720p HD video recording. In fact, this is exactly what Rogers’ main selling point for the device is going to be with their presentation to employees and dealers even calling out the fact that a new 12MP camera costs approximately $300-400 in comparison to the price that Rogers is offering it for.

Speaking of price, the Nokia N8 will be available from Rogers for $79.99 on a 3 year contract and $449.99 outright. No release date has been announced but expect it to hit stores in time for the holiday season.
