If anyone has the inside scoop on upcoming Nokia devices it’s the folks over at pocketnow.com. Someone over there has a source inside Nokia (or Microsoft) offering more leaks than Julian Assange. We talked about the Windows Phone powered Nokia Sun 800 a few weeks back and now more photos of have surfaced. Also, a live photo of the Nokia Sabre prototype was leaked today by Pocketnow along with rumored specifications. Have a look…

As you can see this Nokia Sabre proto is running Windows Phone, expected to be Mango. We’re not sure if that Maps tile takes you to Nokia Maps or Bing Maps. Nokia Maps for Windows Phone was leaked last month as well, although there weren’t many details besides a few screenshots.

According to Pocketnow’s source, the Nokia Sabre WP7 specs will look like this:

“According to the source, Sabre features a 1.4GHz processor much like recent wave-two devices, 1GB of RAM, a 3.5-inch WVGA screen, five-megapixel camera and a price tag of around 300-350 EU (around $410-$480). It most definitely should sport the compulsory Back, Home and Search Windows Phone buttons but due to Mr. Blurrycam, the image is burned out. Together with the 800, it will likely be unveiled by Nokia at the upcoming World event, a gathering where Steve Ballmer has tipped “a bunch” of Windows Phones and Andy Lees is building up the buzz for “a wide range” of Nokia devices.”

Read more on this over at Pocketnow.

Also leaked were some media photos of the Nokia 800 colors. If the rumors turn out to be true, the Nokia 800 will be available in blue, pink, and black on November 15th. The Nokia 800 has been codenamed Searay and might be called Sun.

You'll notice the Nokia 800 design is identical to the Nokia N9. That's something I'm happy about!

The big Nokia World event is just a week away so be patient and we’ll get official word on all of this very soon.

Im not really impressed by what im seeing. The 700 looks similar to whats available from other manufacturers.

It’s hard to tell from the photo. It almost looks like it has the C7 or X7 shape.

The colours on the Nokia 800 look a little different to the vibrant colours on the N9 to me – softer.

On the N9 it’s Magenta and Cyan whereas the 800 seems to be pink and blue. That’s either a good or bad thing.

The N9′s hardware design is also reflected in the Swipe UI. The reason the glass is like it is is because the UI is like it is. I’ve not really used a WP7 phone but surely the curved glass and edge swiping from the N9 UI makes putting WP7 on it a bit of a hack job?

Perhaps if they got Microsoft to make the tiles squircle shaped. ;-)

C7 is very curvy. X7 is angular. That looks more like an E6 but without the keyboard.
